Tougher but good
It's definitely harder than the first Last Stand, but still pretty fun. It took me a little while to get used to the game play idea, and some parts really annoyed me at times, but overall it's a good game.
Likes: I liked the look of the cities and the character's more worn down look is cool. The option to place traps was great, and really helped make the shooting less monotonous. Being able to choose where to search also made the game more interactive and added a nice touch.
Frustrating: The scarcity of weapons and survivors was really disheartening. Understandably, the zombies have been around for quite a while, so resources being scarce is understandable. But only ever finding one survivor in a game makes it extremely difficult to complete the game.
The same can be said for the weapons. The sporatic times that weapons do or don't turn up gets really frustrating at times, especially when you're nearing the end of the game and the .357 is still one of your better weapons. However, these elements still add a nice challenge to gameplay and make the game very replayable.
Dislike: I think that the only part of the game that I really loathe is how your survivors can now be killed right in the middle of a night. Combined with the fact that survivors are so scarce, it makes the game downright devilish at times. I found myself constantly looking out for zombies with weapons to make sure they didn't get near my barricade.
Great work, hope to see more from you in the future.
